On Jan. 27, the foundation hosted it’s first food event at the Makerplace.

This‘batch cooking’ event was presented by Makerplace Chef Brian. Attendees learned how to improve knife skills by cutting up fresh chicken and fresh veggies. They took home savory recipes and a ‘batch’ of meals for 2, including Chicken Soup, White Chicken Chili, and Chicken Marsala with a wing snack on-sight to reward their culinary efforts.
