Since its inception, the Arlington Heights Memorial Library Foundation has been dedicated to raising vital funds for significant capital projects that the library may struggle to finance independently or may encounter delays in acquiring. By supporting us, you play a crucial role in increasing access and expanding learning opportunities for more residents, all while helping to maintain stable taxes.
Your contribution will be used to help fund various improvements at the library and Makerplace. Below are a few examples of how your donation could help. Please note, these are examples only. While you can direct your gift to a certain area, such as Youth and Family, Senior Services, Scholarship, Bookmobile, or Where The Need Is Greatest, purchases are determined solely by library staff.

Retirement Plan Beneficiary Designations
The Arlington Heights Memorial Library Foundation can be named as a beneficiary of a donor’s retirement plans, such as 401 (k) and 403 (b) plans and IRAs. Such designations may not be recorded as gifts to the Foundation until such time as the gift agreement is irrevocable and the Foundation has knowledge of such designation.

These may be directly transferred to the Foundation’s bank account as authorized.
Support our Bookmobile Campaign!
The AHML Foundation is raising $150,000 to cover the funding gap for purchasing a new bookmobile. We will do this through individual donations, fundraising events and securing contributions from civic-minded residents. For them, getting to the library to pick up a book can be time-consuming and difficult. The bookmobile isn’t just nice to have, it’s a lifeline for many seniors, people with disabilities and residents without reliable transportation.
