The Arlington Heights Memorial Library Foundation hosted a ceremony at the Makerplace this week to present scholarship certificates to the two winners of its new scholarship for the trades, Anthony Corsentino and Jake Nikolai, both students at Hersey High School.

In May, the Foundation hosted a new batch cooking class, featuring Chef Brian demonstrating techniques for making three delicious salads.

On Jan. 27, the foundation hosted it’s first food event at the Makerplace.
